Tim Voorhies — Bio

Tim Voorhies is a Bible teacher, minister, and musician with a lifelong passion for strengthening faith and pointing people to Jesus Christ through clear, Scripture-centered teaching. His ministry is rooted in the conviction that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and that God still responds to faith with healing, restoration, and hope.

Tim began his ministry journey at the age of 20, serving as a guitarist on worship teams. He attended two years of Bible school and later traveled extensively for two years with the Spirit Wind Band, where hundreds of people made decisions for Christ. These formative years helped shape his heart for worship, evangelism, and the transforming power of God’s presence.

In 1990, Tim began pastoring Cornerstone Family Church in Campbellsburg, Indiana. In 2008, he expanded his ministry focus to regional evangelism, traveling to churches to teach, encourage, and minister faith through the Word of God.

In addition to ministry, Tim is a guitarist and singer-songwriter. In 2009, he received the Crown Jewel Award in the Contemporary Christian genre at the United States Association of Gospel Entertainers and Musicians awards in Nashville, Tennessee. His song “Too Late” was certified as an international Top 10, reflecting his ability to communicate faith through music as well as teaching.

Today, Tim is the founder of TVM – The Voice of Faith, a ministry created to make faith-building teaching accessible through audio messages, written articles, and digital resources. His teachings emphasize the finished work of Christ, the power of God’s Word, and the importance of believing God with confidence and expectancy — without hype, pressure, or manipulation.

Whether ministering in churches, revival meetings, or through digital platforms, Tim’s heart is to see people grow in faith, walk free from fear and doubt, and live anchored in the promises of God.

OFFERINGS

There is no set charge or fee for our ministry. I want to be able to fulfill God’s plan without being a burden on the local church. All I ask is that we are allowed to receive a love offering in each service unless the church has a set honorarium. In certain situations, we ask that expenses be paid for. We can discuss any questions you may have.
